Here's the book

I just got the cover proof for my book from the publisher last week, and I think it looks great. The picture was taken by an old and dear friend of mine, Shoshannah White. She was just here visiting in New York over Thanksgiving, and Laura and Nathaniel and I got to hang out with her and her guy, Tonee Harbert, another brilliant photographer based in Maine.

Shoshannah thinks she took the picture somewhere in New Hampshire, but the moment I saw it I thought of Route 3 near Montville, Maine, where I used to live. That's the part of the world that inspired my book, and this shot captures the mood of the place perfectly. It's just amazing to have Shoshannah's work as part of this project.
